Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg to Duet?
In funny country music news Kasey Bell of the Country Hound points out that hip hop artist Snoop Dogg and classic country music star Willie Nelson are going to collaborate on a duet:
Willie and Snoop recently finished a new song and video in Amsterdam. There is no information yet on the title of the song. However, these two have more in common than just marijuana in their histories.
The article continues:
“I have a new single called ‘My Medicine’ and I wanted to get a lot of Country artists to perform on it,” Snoop Dogg said. “It was inspired by Country Music legend and the late Johnny Cash.”
Only history and perhaps the music charts will tell if this duet is an amicable musical marriage. Looking forward to the fusion of these two genres and if Willie will stay true to his roots.
