Pickler, Swift dominate CMT Music awards

The Nashville City Paper reports:
While Taylor Swift won the evening’s biggest honor, it was another member of country’s youth corps Kellie Pickler who snared three buckles at Monday’s Country Music Television (CMT) music awards, which attracted more than 4 1/2 million votes from fans.
Swift’s “Our Song” was voted Video of the Year, although the final nominees were not announced until the show started, as well as Female Video of the Year. Pickler, a Season 5 American Idol finalist, won Performance of the Year, Tearjerker Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year for “I Wonder,” and was so overjoyed at winning that she had a tough time finished her acceptance speech via satellite from Scottsdale, Ariz.
